Pastor Vanessa Bradby

Rev. Vanessa Bradby graduated from Eastern Nazarene College in Quincy, MA and her Mdiv at Luther Seminary in Minneapolis, MN. Rev. Bradby has a global perspective in missions ministry with her past work in Romania and Pakistan. Rev. Bradby has a passion for racial justice and creation justice. She is an active chaplain with the Twin Cities Interfaith Movement. She has worked with youth and was a “bridge” minister for New Spirit UCC. In 2021, she was called as the senior minister for New Spirit United Church of Christ, Savage,MN. Rev. Bradby and her husband Mark have 3 children and live in Minneapolis, MN.

Music Director Candy Moffit

I have been music director for New Spirit since 1997. I got a B.A. in music education from St. Olaf College and taught at Sweeney Elementary in Shakopee, MN for 44 years. Now retired from teaching, I play piano for our Sunday services and direct the choir. I am a passionate environmentalist and an active member of Interfaith Creation Care South Metro as well as New Spirit’s own “green” team.
