New Spirit ACTIVITIES NSUCC Mission work beyond our doors:- Collected blood pressure cuffs and stethoscopes for Peace Corps member in Morocco, Africa
- Participated in South of the River CROP Hunger Walk to raise funds to fight hunger in the US
- Preparing Thanksgiving dinner baskets for Bethesda Baptist Church in Minneapolis, MN
- Supporting the Holiday Basket Program for the Aliveness Project, a MN non-profit organization that is a community resource for individuals living with HIV/AIDS
- Collected school supplies drive for Sky Oaks Elementary School in ISD #191 - Burnsville, MN
- Meal preparation for St. Stephen's Shelter in Minneapolis, MN
- Prepared meals thru Feed my Starving Children for children in Thailand
- Ongoing support for small loans to individuals without access to traditional banking systems through KIVA - a non-profit whose mission is to connect people through lending to alleviate poverty
- Raised funds and collected supplies to aid in the building of a school in Dandabu, Sierra Leone

Christian Ed Activities: - Sunday School curriculum theme is "Exploring God's Creation"
- The children learn about their faith and we discuss how each lesson relates to us today and why it is important
- Children are actively involved in learning about and participating in service and mission to others. They donate their offerings annually to the Heifer Project; providing food/animals to people all over the world
- We provide fun crafts each Sunday related to our theme
- We have small classes held in a safe environment
- A licensed child care attendant is available
